# Terms of Service **Effective Date:** March 8, 2026 **Last Updated:** March 29, 2026 Welcome to **1+1**, a social discovery and dating platform operated by 1+1 Development ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Eligibility - You must be at least **18 years of age** to create an account and use the Service. - By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. - You represent that you have not been convicted of a felony or any offense involving violence, sexual misconduct, or harassment. - You represent that you are not required to register as a sex offender in any jurisdiction. - We reserve the right to request proof of age and to terminate accounts that violate this requirement. --- ## 2. Account Registration and Security - You may register using email/password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple. - You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary. - You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. - You must notify us immediately at soporte@1mas1.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. - You may only maintain one account. Duplicate accounts may be terminated. - Accounts are automatically locked after 10 consecutive failed login attempts for security. --- ## 3. User Conduct and Community Guidelines You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose: social discovery, dating, and building genuine connections. You must not: - **Harass, bully, stalk, intimidate, or threaten** any other user. - **Upload, share, or transmit** sexually explicit, pornographic, violent, hateful, discriminatory, or illegal content. - **Impersonate** another person or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation. - **Create fake or misleading profiles**, including using photos of other people without their consent. - **Solicit money** from other users or use the Service for commercial purposes, advertising, or promotion. - **Send spam**, chain messages, or unsolicited bulk communications. - **Use automated means** (bots, scrapers, scripts) to access or interact with the Service. - **Attempt to circumvent** security measures, rate limits, or content moderation systems. - **Collect or harvest** personal information of other users. - **Upload content** that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights. - **Engage in any activity** that is illegal under applicable law. We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates these guidelines, including removing content, issuing warnings, suspending, or permanently banning accounts. --- ## 4. Content and Intellectual Property ### 4.1 Your Content You retain ownership of the content you post on 1+1 (photos, bio, messages). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating, improving, marketing, and promoting the Service. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload, and that your content does not violate the rights of any third party. By joining 1+1, you grant your consent for 1+1 to use your public profile information (first name, age, public photos, bio, interests, and approximate location) both to display it to other users within the discovery Service and for marketing and promotional purposes of the Service, including advertising, promotional materials, social media, website, press, and other distribution channels. Your last name, email address, private conversations, and any other personal information considered private will never be shown publicly. If you close or delete your account, the consent granted in this section ends for future uses. However, any promotional, advertising, or marketing material that has already been created, produced, distributed, or published prior to termination shall remain valid and may continue to be used by 1+1 without requirement of recall or modification. ### 4.2 Content Moderation All photos uploaded to 1+1 are subject to automated content moderation (powered by Sightengine) and may be subject to manual review. Photos may be rejected for nudity, suggestive content, offensive material, quality issues, or suspected AI-generated imagery. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms. ### 4.3 Our Intellectual Property All branding, logos, trademarks, designs, software, and code related to 1+1 are the exclusive property of 1+1 Development. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. --- ## 5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases ### 5.1 Subscription Tiers 1+1 offers the following subscription tiers with premium features: - **Plus:** Enhanced daily likes, 5 mega likes per day, undo capability. - **Premium:** Unlimited daily likes, 15 mega likes per day, undo capability, see who liked you. - **Elite:** Unlimited daily likes, unlimited mega likes, undo capability, see who liked you, priority discovery. ### 5.2 Billing and Auto-Renewal - Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. - **Subscriptions automatically renew** at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. - Your App Store or Play Store account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. - You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Play Store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. ### 5.3 Free Trial If offered, free trial periods automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription. ### 5.4 Refunds All purchases are subject to the refund policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, contact Apple or Google through their respective support channels. ### 5.5 Price Changes We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing period following notice. Your continued subscription after a price change constitutes acceptance. --- ## 6. User Safety and Reporting ### 6.1 Reporting You can report users for the following reasons: inappropriate content, fake profile, harassment, spam, underage suspicion, or other violations. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team and appropriate action is taken. ### 6.2 Blocking You can block any user at any time. Blocked users cannot see your profile, send you messages, or interact with you in any way. Blocking is bidirectional. ### 6.3 Safety Disclaimer **1+1 does not conduct criminal background checks on users.** We are not responsible for the actions of users on or off the platform. You are solely responsible for your safety when interacting with other users. We strongly recommend: - Meeting in public places for initial meetings. - Informing a friend or family member of your plans. - Not sharing personal financial information. - Reporting any suspicious or threatening behavior immediately. --- ## 7. Privacy Your use of the Service is also governed by our [Privacy Policy](/legal/privacy-policy), which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy. --- ## 8. Disclaimers THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that: - The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. - Any matches or connections will result in successful relationships. - User profiles are accurate, truthful, or complete. - The Service will meet your specific expectations or requirements. --- ## 9. Limitation of Liability TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 1+1 DEVELOPMENT AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. --- ## 10. Indemnification You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 1+1 Development, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: - Your use of the Service. - Your violation of these Terms. - Your violation of any third-party rights. - Any content you submit through the Service. --- ## 11. Dispute Resolution ### 11.1 Informal Resolution Before filing a formal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes by contacting us at soporte@1mas1.app. We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days. ### 11.2 Arbitration If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the Centro de Conciliación y Arbitraje de Panamá (CeCAP) of the Cámara de Comercio, Industrias y Agricultura de Panamá (CCIAP), under its Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in Panama, or remotely at your election. ### 11.3 Class Action Waiver YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. ### 11.4 Exceptions Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights. --- ## 12. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Panama, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. --- ## 13. Account Termination ### 13.1 By You You may delete your account at any time through **Settings > Delete Account** in the app. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Upon deletion, your profile, photos, matches, and swipes are permanently removed. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data deletion. ### 13.2 By Us We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, without notice, if: - You violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines. - We reasonably believe your account poses a safety risk to other users. - Your account has been inactive for more than 12 months. - Required by law or legal process. --- ## 14. Modifications to Terms We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through in-app notifications or by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account. --- ## 15. General Provisions - **Severability:** If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. - **Entire Agreement:** These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and 1+1 Development regarding the Service. - **Waiver:** Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. - **Assignment:** You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights without restriction. - **Force Majeure:** We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, or infrastructure failures. --- ## 16.
